Software designed around regulatory requirements, medical information, and complex professional training can often become an obstacle to real care. I approach healthcare UX by understanding not just the system requirements, but the true goals and practical use of patients and carers.
While at Martini Media Group, our design team launched two SAAS apps using a central algorithm to inform patients and staff what steps to take next. The challenge was simplifying an abstract, impersonal formula into discrete personal activities through simple steps in the UI/UX.
